Biography: Evan Massey is adding to the legend of Galesburg High School basketball on the girls’ side. Massey was still adding to a 931-315 record as he entered his 43rd season in 2021. The Silver Streaks finished second in the IHSA Class AA tournament in 1999, third in 1996 and fourth in 1997, 2000 and 2001.  Massey claimed 18 straight IHSA Regional titles (1988-2005) and 9 straight IHSA Sectional crowns (1995-2003). He also took teams to the IHSA Elite Eight in 2003 and 2011. Massey was a star at Savanna High School and played at Knox College in Galesburg. He is a member of the Knox College  Hall of Fame.  Evan joins his father, W.F. Massey in the Hall of Fame.  W.F. was inducted in 1988.
