Biography:

As of his 1973 induction, Dolph Stanley was the only coach in Illinois history to take five different schools to the State Tournament.  He did it with Equality in 1934, Mr. Pulaski in 1936, Taylorville in 1940 and 1944, Rockford Auburn in 1962 and 1963 and Rockford Boylan in 1971.  His 1944 Taylorville team was the very first State Champion to be undefeated at 45-0.  Dolph Stanley passed away on July 9, 1990.
