Jack Foley

Biography: Jack Foley served as an assistant coach in basketball, football, and track at Moline HS from 1941 to 1951.  As a head coach, Foley’s teams compiled a 240-73 record while competing against some of the state’s powerhouse teams.  His squads annually played one of the state’s toughest schedules.  In those 12 seasons, Moline won five Northwest Conference titles, five quad City conference titles, two Mississippi Valley Conference championships, five regional titles, and four sectional championships.  Foley moved from coaching to become the Superintendent of Educational Service Region Rock Island County.  Jack passed away on July 19, 1995.
