Biography: Mike has had a distinguished career as a head coach in both boys’ and girls’ basketball.  He ended his career at (Peru) St. Bede Academy with 492 victories.  Spending most of his career at Mendota High School, Mike guided the boys’ teams to 7 IHSA Regional titles, 5 IHSA Sectional crowns, and 3 IHSA Super-sectional victories.  His girls’ teams won 3 IHSA Regional titles, 1 IHSA Sectional crown, 1 IHSA Super-sectional win and a 4th place finish in the 1999 state tournament.
