Biography: Michael has been a mainstay on the high school sports scene. While other news outlets have eliminated prep sports positions, he has maintained coverage of Chicago area high school sports on a daily basis for the Chicago Sun-Times.  Michael has provided timely coverage through social media, podcasts, online and in print for the Sun-Times. He has been covering prep sports for the Sun-Times since 2001 and began to serve as High School Sports Editor in 2008.
