Biography: Ralph Leo was associated with prep sports for nearly 40 years as a respected and popular prep sports editor of one of the world’s largest newspapers, The Chicago Tribune.  Ralph was one of the main people responsible for the outstanding Chicago Tribune-Coca Cola prep sports banquets.  These banquets have been recognized as the finest of their kind in the country.  Ralph was considered a sports writer’s sports writer and was beloved by coaches throughout the Chicago area.  He was a truly great man, writer, and supporter of high school sports.  Ralph died on May 10, 1985.
