Biography: Bob Garretson earned all state and all America player honors during his senior season at (Peoria) Woodruff High School.  That year he averaged 25.1 ppg to lead all scorers in the Peoria area.  His career average as a Warrior was 18.1 ppg.  In 1957, his senior season, Bob was the Peoria Area Player of the Year.  He went on to Morningside College (now University) in Iowa where he was a 3-time all conference selection.  His collegiate career average was 21.3 ppg.  He was the Mustangs’ MVP during his senior season in 1961.
