Biography: Kent Coultas has been a fixture at the Winchester scorer’s table for decades prior to the West Central Co-op which began in the 2004-05 season. Kent’s has spent 40+ years on the Winchester scorebook. He started keeping score when he was in 5th grade. Kent has also kept the scorebook for the Winchester Invitational Tournament for thirty years and is the tournament’s historian. The tournament is closing in on 100 years, thus there is a lot of history to protect and showcase. Kent also keeps the scorebook or runs the scoreboard for the high school girls’ program and the junior high boys’ and girls’ programs. People in Winchester will tell you: “Kent is Winchester and West Central Basketball.”
