Biography: John Groves wears many hats in supporting Quincy Blue Devil sports.  Since 1990, he has been the “keeper of the torch” which means he lights the torch and ensures fire safety during the pre-game ceremony.  Going back to 1980, John has been helpful in organizing the fan busses for Quincy High School away games.  Groves has been the Shoot-Out Co-Chairman, twice the chairman of the Quincy Boys Thanksgiving Tournament, helped with the gym sound system and concession stands.  John’s services to Quincy H.S. cannot be overstated.
