Biography: Lester Hake was active in coaching from 1941 until 1977.  Lester handled the entire Nashville Grade School Basketball Program from 1941-1960; this included the sixth, seventh, and eighth grade teams.  From 1960-70, Hake concentrated his talents at the eighth grade level only.  His overall record for all levels was 519-315 for a 62.2% winning percentage.  His eighth grade teams won 15+ games on 12 different occasions.  Although he gave up basketball coaching in 1970, Lester remained as the baseball coach and athletic director until his retirement in 1977.  Lester Hake died on March 25, 2003.
