Biography: Gary’s 30-year coaching career has included stints at Westmont High School, Rock Falls High School, (Downs) Tri-Valley High School, Rock Island High School and Geneseo High School.  He was head girls’ coach at Geneseo from 1989-96 and assistant boys’ coach there for 16 years.  Gary also was head boys’ coach at Rock Falls from 1977-79 and a men’s assistant coach at Blackhawk College in 2010-11.  He helped Geneseo to 2 IHSA Sweet Sixteen appearances.
