Biography: At the time of his Hall of Fame induction, Barry had been coaching for 31 years.  This included 24 years as a head coach in both boys and girls basketball at Watseka High School.  He surpassed the 400 career victory plateau during the 2018-2019 season.  This milestone came as he guided the Warriors’ girls’ varsity team to a Class 2A Sweet Sixteen berth.  Barry has also been a highly successful girls’ softvball coach at Watseka.  He has had the pleasure of coaching his three daughters at Watseka.  Additionally, Barry served as Watseka’s athletic director.
