Biography: Geri was a super fan of girls basketball for 40+ years.  In the late 1970’s, she chaperoned the bus trips to the state tournament and provided statistics for radio coverage.  Geri also chaperoned athletic contests at (Palatine) Fremd High School, where she worked as a student supervisor.  She volunteered at the annual Alumni Tournament as a ticket taker and mascot.  She attended every girls IHSA state tournament for over 4 decades.  Geri passed away on October 3, 2017 at the age of 74.
