Biography: Russell and his brother, RJ, have been instrumental in providing positive activities and opportunities for children in their native East St. Louis and Washington Park areas.  Russell has dedicated his life to helping boys and girls from that area.  Russell contined to coach the RJ Krause All-Stars Sports Club teams even after his brother was seriously injured in a fall at a track meet in 2005, keeping the program going.  The brothers have won numerous awards for their tireless work and dedication to helping the youth of their community.
