Biography: Bob Leu was an All Big 12 Conference forward for Peoria Central High School under Salen Herke in 1935-36. He played with the Lions in the state tournaments in 1934-36. However, it wasn’t for his playing ability that this Bradley University graduate was honored by the IBCA with his Hall of Fame induction in 1980.   For 32 years, Bob served the Braves as the public address announcer for games at the legendary Robertson Memorial Fieldhouse. In that capacity he has served as the PA announcer for high school sectionals and super-sectionals played at the site. Drawing on his public address duties at Bradley, Bob published the book, Good Evening Basketball Fans in 1977.  Bob Leu died on July 17, 2002.
