Biography: Since his graduation from Lostant High School in 1936, Howard Linder has served as the official scorer for both Lostant High School and Grade School. Exceptions were brief periods for health and when his sons were playing. Linder also served as the team bus driver for away games. During World War II, Linder coached the grade school teams when a qualified teacher couldn’t be found. Linder is known throughout the Tri-County Conference by fans and coaches. The Little Tri-County Conference recognized Linder with a plaque for his service to the league in 1983.  Howard Linder died on November 2, 1999 at the age of 91.
