Biography: Daniel is a devoted worker for Ottawa Township High School. He has served the Pirates as a statistician, radio color commentator,  OTHS Hall of Fame co-founder and a member of the OTHS Foundation Board.  Daniel was longtime sports editor of the Ottawa Daily Times, covering 20 high school basketball programs. He also has served as an IHSA statistician and archivist. In 1973 his sports column took first place in the A.P. Editorial Excellence contest.
