Biography: J.R. amassed 1,579 career points and blocked 213 career shots during his time at Morton (IL) High School.  He led the Potters to IHSA Regional titles in 1993 and 1994.  The 6′ 10″ forward earned 1st Team All-State player honors from The Associated Press and The Chicago Sun-Times.  J.R. went on to play at The University of Iowa, helping the Hawkeyes to 3 NCAA Tournament bids.  He was the 46th player selected in the 1999 NBA Draft by the NY Knicks.  He played for 7 seasons in Europe.
