Biography: Calvin was a two-time all-stater at (Springfield) Lanphier High School, graduating in 1964 with 1,719 career points(Note:  This was before the 3 point line came into high school basketball).  He led the city of Springfield in scoring as a junior and senior.  Calvin went on to play for future University of Kentucky coach Joe B. Hall at Central Missouri State, where as a senior he was among the nation’s top scorers. He played one year with the NBA’s Atlanta Hawks and seven in the CBA. He also played with the Marques Haynes World Fabulous Magicians.
