Biography: Jamal finished 10th in conference scoring as a junior and fourth as a senior at Freeport High School. He was a two-time all-NIC 10 point guard for the Pretzels.   Jamal earned a scholarship to Indiana University. He played in 129 games for the Hoosiers with 445 career points, 262 rebounds, 474 assists and 89 steals. He played in four NCAA Tournaments and as a senior, helped the Hoosiers reach the 1992 Final Four.
