Biography: Rich Yunkus was a two time All State player, a high school All American player while leading his Benton Rangers to a 61-2 record.  Rich played for the US All Star team in the Dapper Dan Classic.  After high School Rich attended Georgia Tech University where he was 6^th in the nation’s scoring his senior year and was drafted by the Atlanta Hawks in 1971.  Rich is one of the all time great players to come out of the southern Illinois area.
