Biography: The 2013 Illini Central Cougars followed up their 3rd place run in 2012 with another run, this time to an IHSA State Title.  IBCA Hall of Fame Coach John Giesler led the Cougars to their back-to-back trips to Peoria.  IC’s 2013 team returned all but three members of the group who won 3rd place the season before.  Guard Jared Entwistle was named 1st Team All-State and All-IBCA that season.  Forwards Jordan Bradshaw and Duncan McClure were named 4th Team All-IBCA as well.  the Cougars finished the season 26-5 without losing to a single class 1A team and only one class 2A team along the way to their IHSA Class 1A State Championship.
