Biography:  The 2011-12 Woodlawn Cardinals won the 2012 IHSA Boys’ Class 1A State Tournament, defeating Carrollton HS in the Championship game.  Through the course of the season, Cardinals were MTC Tournament Champions, Sesser-Valier Holiday Tournament Champions and MTC Conference Champions.  On their way to the state title, they defeated #1 ranked (Mounds) Meridian HS in the Super-Sectional game.  The Cardinals finished the season with a 29-5 record.
