Biography:

Dawn was a three-time all-state selection at Hinsdale South High School from 1976-80. She averaged 25 ppg as a senior and 21 ppg as a junior. Hinsdale South was 89-15 in her four years, including an IHSA state quarterfinal appearance.

 Dawn totaled 1,208 career points and 233 career assists at Illinois State from 1980-84, both good for 19th in Redbird program history. She teamed with All-American Cathy Boswell to win the 1981 AIAW state title (predecessor of the NCAA tournament) and the 1983 Gateway Conference regular-season and tournament championships.
