Biography:

A three-time all-Mid-Suburban League selection, Andy scored 1,230 career points at (Arlington Heights) HerseyHigh School and surpassed 1,000 rebounds, 200 blocked shots and 100 assists. He averaged 15.2 ppg as a senior in 1971-72, earning all-state honors.

Andy received a scholarship to DePaul University, averaging 5.4 ppg and 4.9 rpg in 92 games. As senior captain in 1975-76, he averaged 7.5 ppg as the Blue Demons went 20-9 and made its first NCAA Tournament trip since 1965.
