Biography: At the time of his induction, Doug had been a junior high basketball coach for 38 years, building a 569-186 career record. Included is a 151-32 mark in 16 years as a seventh-grade coach and a 418-154 record in 22 seasons as an eighth-grade coach.  Doug guided Centralia to great success in Southern Illinois Junior High School Athletic Association postseason play. His teams have placed fourth in the state twice, finished third four times, placed second three times and won three IESA Championships.
