Biography: Bob’s teams won more than 400 varsity games in a 30 year coaching career.  His 23-year run at (Oneida) ROWVA High School from 1970-93 was highlighted by a 2nd place finish in the 1976 IHSA Class A State Tournament.  Bob coached the Class A North in the 1984 IBCA All-Star Game in Peoria.  His teams won 14 invitational tournament titles, 4 conference championships, 4 IHSA Regional crowns, and 2 IHSA Sectional titles.  In 2016, ROWVA named their gymnasium after Bob.  Bob Meredith died on June 28, 2019 at the age of 87.
