Biography:

Randy Wolken coached varsity boys basketball for 24 years – two at Armstrong High School and 22 at St. Joseph-Ogden High School. Wolken, a St. Joseph native and Eastern Illinois University graduate, compiled a 430-234 coaching mark. The Spartans won five IHSA Regional,  five holiday tournaments and had nine 20-win seasons under Wolken.

Wolken also set the state record for softball victories with 1,044 in 39 years at St. Joseph-Ogden. He retired in 2018 with a state title (2006) and five state trophies. The softball field at the school is named after him.
