Biography:

At the time of his induction, Doug had officiated basketball for 40 years and in 2011 was selected as the Basketball Official of the Year by the IHSA. He officiated the 2011 IBCA All-Star Game and worked the IHSA Class 1A and 2A Boys’ State Tournaments in 2009, 2010 and 2012.

Doug’s state finals experience included two championship games. He has been a member of the Springfield Area Officials Association for 32 years and assists the IHSA as a Certified Basketball Clinician.
