Biography:

Michael has been the boys’ head coach at (Chicago) Curie High School since 1995, amassing a 605-200 record. The Condors were 31-3 in 2023-24, losing by two points in the super-sectional to eventual Class 4A state champion Homewood-Flossmoor.

Michael guided Curie to three Chicago city championships and to a Class 4A state championship in 2016. His 2019 squad took third in the state. Michael was a 2012 inductee into the Chicago Public League Basketball Hall of Fame.
