Biography:

At the time of his induction, Bret had carved out a 427-255 record in 23 years as the girls’ head coach at Hillsboro High School. He guided the Hilltoppers to the Class 2A IHSA State Championship in the 2005-06 season.

Bret’s 2018-19 team took fourth place in the IHSA state tournament. Since taking over as head coach in 2001, he has coached Hillsboro to six South Central Conference championships, 10 IHSA Regional titles and 3 IHSA Sectional championships during his highly successful tenure.
