Biography:

Kent was the sports information director at The University of Illinois-Champaign for 23 years and spent 32 years in Illini athletics communications. He also was sports information director at Kansas State for four years.. 

Kent, who retired in June 2023, was a friend to the IBCA by assisting with biographical information, photos and hospitality when the organization was on campus. He put forth extra effort to make the IBCA feel a part of the Illini experience.
