Biography:

At the time of his induction, Gary had been involved with basketball in Illinois for more than 60 years as a player, coach, official, broadcaster and bench official. He played basketball at (Piasa) Southwestern High School and was a basketball official from 1968 to the late 1970’s.

Gary coached junior high and high school basketball at (Buffalo) Tri-City, Southwestern and Gillespie High Schools. He has been a popular radio basketball announcer since 1991 and has been a member of the scorer’s table crew for Southwestern games since 1985.
