Biography:

Eric was still active at the time of his induction with a 431-345 career record. He was 145-90 in 9 seasons at DePue High School, 9-12 in one season at Wenona High School and 277-243 in 20 years at (Spring Valley) Hall High School. His Hall teams finished second in the IHSA Class A state tournament in 1997 and 1998 and won 24 tournament championships. Bryant-coached teams won 8 IHSA regionals, 4 IHSA sectionals and 2 IHSA  supersectionals. The 1997-98 team was ranked No. 1 in the final Associated Press Class A regular-season poll and won 32 consecutive games before losing in the state championship game. He was the IBCA All-Star head coach in 1989 and was named IBCA District Coach of the Year four times.
