Biography:

Ray began attending Peoria area high school basketball games in 1939.  He began helping at Bradley University during the war.  Ray White served as the head score keeper at Bradley University from 1955-1983 for both the varsity and freshman men’s basketball teams.  Additionally, he scored for the Bradley women’s teams from 1981-1988.  White kept the book for the IBCA All Star Games at both Illinois State and Bradley.  While at Bradley, Ray was responsible for the IHSA super-sectional games on Robertson Fieldhouse’s raised floor.  In 1979 and 1980 he scored Peoria Central games when the Braves were idle.  He also helped at the Pekin Holiday Tournament.
