Biography: Martin, a member of the 1973 Ridgway High School state championship team, has been one of the biggest supporters of Gallatin County and southeastern Illinois basketball.  He has been a major fundraiser for many athletic projects at Gallatin High Schol, including the scoreboards in the gym and equipment for the boys and girls teams.  Martin also is the announcer at home games, as well as supplying t-shirts/meals for participants in the IHSA Country Financial 3-point Showdown.
