Biography: The 2017-18 basketball season was Richard’s 47th on the microphone for the Tuscola High School basketball program.  He taught mathematics at Tuscola from 1967-2004.  In 1971 he began announcing boys’ basketball games.  Tuscola has hosted dozens of conference, IHSA Regional and Sectional tournaments.  Richard has been there for it all.  He also has filled in as the girls’ basketball announcer.  Richard has honored the game and has represented his community with class and excellence.
