Biography: Beginning in 1971 through his induction, Dan attended approximately 100 high school basketball games and 50 college basketball games each season.  He helped numerous scouting services with high school rosters, both summer and in-season.  He gathered information on players who had gone unnoticed but possessed college potential.  Dan was inducted into the Chicago Public League Basketball Coaches Association Hall of Fame in 2009.  Dan Laffee died on October 2, 2016.
