Biography: Matt’s teams have amassed more than 560 wins during his 36-year career.  The bulk of those victories came during his 26-year tenure at Morton Junior High School (470-124).  In 12 trips to the IESA state tournament, Matt’s squads brought home 8 trophies, including a fourth place finish, 2 third place finishes, 2 second place finishes and 3 state championships.  He won 8 IBCA district coaching awards.
