Biography:   After a basketball playing career at St. Charles High School and Northern Illinois University, Orv Jones served 16 years as a basketball coach at St. Charles.  After retiring as a basketball coach, Jones spent the next 25 seasons scoring more than 700 St. Charles High School games.  He scored more than 125 IHSA tournament games in that time.  In 1989, Jones was the assistant scorekeeper for the IHSA Class AA State Tournament and the following year served as the official scorer.  Jones has been very involved with youth basketball in St. Charles, coaching a youth team for 17 years.  It is estimated Orv Jones has witnessed an estimated 1800 St. Charles High School basketball games.
