Biography: 

At the time of his induction, Joel Cluver had been a broadcaster at WPXN Radio in Paxton, Illinois for 35 years.  He has broadcast over 1,000 boys’ and girls’ basketball games.  For over twenty years he has hosted a Saturday morning coaches show that has highlighted the coaches and their programs from East-Central Illinois.  His morning sports reports keep his listeners informed of scores, rankings, stats and sports news.  Cluver has also hosted round-table discussions with area coaches.  He has had the good fortune to cover and broadcast 12 teams in their state tournament runs to the state finals.
