Biography:

At the beginning of girl’s basketball interscholastic competition, Collinsville played only nine games during Kim’s sophomore year and had its first regular season her junior year. Still, she totaled more than 1,600 career points and 700 career rebounds, averaging 29 ppg as a senior in 1980 and 27 ppg as a junior.  Kim earned all-state and All-America honors before playing two years at The University of Illinois. She is credited with the Big Ten’s first triple-double in 1982 when she racked up 13 points, 11 rebounds and 15 assists vs.  Eastern Michigan.
