Biography: 

Leann scored more than 1,000 career points at (Breese) Mater Dei High School. She helped the Knights advance to the IHSA Elite Eight in 1990-91, when they finished with a 28-3 record.  As she left the collegiate ranks, Leann ranked as the No. 4 scorer in Southern Illinois Edwardsville history with 1,518 career points. A center, she scored a school-record 40 points against Southern Indiana University. She was named a Division II All-American and SIUE’s Most Outstanding Female Athlete in 1993-94.
