Biography:

Bob was a friend of high school sports and a top-notch reporter at the Jacksonville Journal Courier. He spent 20 years at the newspaper, making high school and college sports a big part of the paper’s popular local and area coverage. 

Bob provided columns, game stories and gathered scores at night. He also was a high school and college umpire for more than 20 years, and ran the clock and kept the scorebook at Illinois College games for 20-plus years.
