Biography:

Isaac Carter was a standout guard at Chicago’s Robeson High School during a career that ended in 1981. He was a first-team all-section player in 1980 and 1981, averaging 25 points, 6 rebounds, 6 assists and 3 steals per game. He was the valedictorian and president of his senior class. He also was an all-section center fielder in baseball in 1979, ‘80 and ‘81.

Carter received a scholarship to Ivy League member Princeton University and played there for three years. He graduated with a B.A. in politics and economics and became the vice president at Northern Trust Company in Chicago. He returned as a head coach at Robeson for several seasons.
