Biography:

Tom Cassidy was a three-year starter and three-year NCIC all-conference selection for Mendota. He was a unanimous selection to the inaugural Illinois State Holiday Classic Tournament team in 1975 and was a Rockford Star all-area selection as a junior and senior. Cassidy scored 1,262 career points and was a special mention all-state selection after averaging 21.5 points a game as a senior.

Cassidy played four years at Eureka College and ranked second in school history in assists (423). He led the program in single-season assists four times and steals two times.
