Biography:

Eugene “Ike” Dodd was a regular at Waverly High School games when his sons played basketball there, and more recently at New Berlin to watch his grandson play. Yet, his love for IHSA basketball has no boundaries.  He attended games nearly each week to see the best teams in his area of the state.

Dan Snodgrass, an official for 35 years, said Eugene often would show up for games in unexpected places, traveling an hour or two to get there. “You never knew when you would see him or where you would see him,” Snodgrass said.
