Biography:

At Hoopeston-East Lynn High School, Scott Eells was an all-state selection, honorable mention All-American and co-Wauseca Conference MVP as a senior in 1975.  He ranks among the school’s career scorers and rebounders and scored the first points in the inaugural IBCA All-Star Game.

Eells was a four-year letterman who played in 89 games at Indiana University. He was the honorary captain in 1979 and earned the L.G. Balfour Award for bringing honor and distinction to Indiana basketball. He was a member of the 1976 undefeated NCAA national championship team and the 1979 NIT championship team.
