Biography:  Rock Island High School boys’ basketball is known for its great tradition and intense fan support.  Zalm Gellerman was a part of that fan support for 30+ years.  Zalm was so endeared to the Rocky basketball program that a scholarship for the MVP was named after him.  Sadly, Zalm was unable to live to see his induction.

Zalm Gellerman died on April 27, 1988 at the age of 65.
