Biography:

Phillip averaged more than 18 ppg and 6.2 rpg as an East St. Louis High School senior in 1999-2000. He teamed with all-stater Darius Miles as the Flyers took third place in the IHSA Class AA State Tournament.

Phillip went on to earn all-Missouri Valley Conference player honors during each of his three years at Bradley University. He scored 1,689 career points, ninth-most in Bradley history, and averaged more than 20 points per game as a junior and senior. He played professionally for nine years in Europe and Asia.
